With over ten years of experience in strategic communications, community engagement and government relations, Krista Gobins Wilson is passionate about utilizing content, public policy and outreach to drive the conversation on diversity and inclusion. A skilled events producer, media consultant and operations manager, she uses a multi-faceted approach to increase awareness on the issues that impact women, people of color, the LGBTQ community and veterans.

As Editor in Chief of Diversity Agenda, Gobins Wilson works with the creative, editorial and digital teams to spearhead thought-provoking publications, events and conversations that create tangible change related to gender equality and equal opportunity throughout various market sectors. She also serves as Senior Vice President of Special Projects at Sacks Communications and as a Policy Advisory for the Women Builders Council – an organization dedication to increasing the role of women throughout the construction industry.

Gobins Wilson has over 15 years of experience with elected officials on the local, state and federal level. She has worked with numerous legislators, political candidates and state officials throughout New York State – serving in various positions such as Director of Legislative Affairs, Director of Communications and Deputy Chief of Staff. During her tenure as Committee Director for the New York State Senate Committee on Veterans, Homeland Security and Military Affairs, Gobins Wilson worked with legislators and state agencies to draft and pass the “New York State Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Act,” a bill that launched the largest set aside in State contracting for Service Disabled Veterans in the Country.

Gobins Wilson splits her time between New York City and North Carolina, where she lives with her husband Adam and beagle-terrier rescue, Claudia Jean.
